We are still holding out for consistent sunny days here in Boston, but excited that summer break starts in a few short weeks. This weekend kept us busy locally with Grayson experiencing his first eye appointment. He was in a separate exam room from his big sister, but had gone with me a few times so was very confident in the experience. Mr. Lovebird captured this shot that keeps cracking me up:

This week we're in the midst of preparing to head to NYC this weekend for Create & Cultivate plus Mr. Lovebirds' birthday. For a brief few months we'll both be 36 til I become the "older woman" in September. I'm trying to finagle a way to see Bruno Mars for my birthday, but the recently announced line-up for the 5th annual Life is Beautiful festival (also on my birthday!) looks incredible. We haven't been to the festival since its first year but have stayed on top of the line-up each year and this might be one of the best yet. We'll be in Vegas in July and will have *just* missed Bruno (poor planning on our part!) and the weekend that he's here in Boston is when I'll be in Miami for Blogalicious. Oh the struggle is real!
