May 7: A VERY Important Date

It's 4a.m. as I write this, and I'm waiting for pizza sauce to finish reducing (it's for Mr. Love Bird's birthday festivities later today!). I'm thinking I might as well stay up since I'm going to Famous Footwear's Grand Opening in a few short hours. 

This date is significant for the following reasons:

  1. It's Mr. Love Bird's 30th birthday (we met when he was 18!)
  2. My cousin Jerrica graduates from Kent State today - CONGRATULATIONS!
  3. It's my cousin Grace's wedding day (so sorry to miss it, but looking forward to visiting family in Ohio this summer)
  4. It's the 6 anniversary of the passing of my Uncle Mike, my mother's brother; I miss him SO much and think about him all the time

    Happy Birthday to your hubs and well wishes on all the milestones your family is celebrating. I still say a prayer in remembrance on the day a family member passed...it helps keep the memory alive.
