RedEnvelope Knows What Mom Wants (& a $500 Giveaway!)

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of RedEnvelope.

As a mom you definitely have those moments when you look back after the fact and laugh but in the moment it definitely isn't funny. My daughter's trip to the ER earlier this spring was one of those moments. She had swallowed a metal ball from one of her games and while both her dad and I weren't too alarmed initially, a follow-up call to her doctor sprung us into action to get her to the ER where she spent time getting x-rayed, lots of juice, cookies and coloring pages.

At the age of 3 1/2 years old it's hard to remember life without our daughter and the silly moments she brings us definitely outweigh the stressful ones and somehow she knows just how to make us laugh right in the moment.

After we were told to wait and see the ball pass through her system during that 3 day wait she was very concerned even asking, "Daddy, can you clean the ball off when it comes out so I can play my game again?"

Oh dear!

These are definitely the moments I'm going to remember when she's a young adult making strides in the world I'm sure. For now though I take handling them as badges of honor - trials and tribulations of raising a little person with lots of laughs along the way.

This Mother's Day is my last as a mom of one and since I'll be a mom of two next month I decided to indulge in something meant for a little comfy R & R from RedEnvelope just for me, especially before it gets a bit (more) hectic around here!

I'm a sucker for little details like the understated RedEnvelope seal and crisp tissue paper - I even saved the ribbon!

It's hard not to get excited for the beautiful signature red box, and while I've turned to RedEnvelope for gifts for my own loved ones including my mom in the past, it was extra special to open up the box just for me!

With many long nights ahead of me and surely plenty of silly moments with my Lil Lovebird and her soon-to-be accomplice Baby Agbai 2.0 in my future, I selected comfortable PJs to take with me not only in my hospital bag in a few weeks, but also to lounge in around the house while taking care of my little ones this summer.

The stars bring a bit of whimsy and remind me of my own silly moments I'm sure I brought my mom - and yes, she ended up in the ER with me as well a couple times, but I wasn't as adventurous as to swallow a game piece!

This Mother's Day RedEnvelope knows #WhatMomWants and invites you to browse their unique selection of curated gifts for the special mom in your life (and yes, even for yourself!). With many items monogrammed, a gift from RedEnvelope is a high-quality keepsake that will be cherished for many years.
