The Best Bits

In the throes of springtime and everything blooming I find that I get nostalgic for days past. I'm a low-key hoarder when it comes to saving mementos and especially with my journals that I've kept since I was 7 years old, I generally think I've been reflective from a young age. This doesn't keep me from looking forward, but it helps me cherish and appreciate where I've been.

I thought it'd be fun to take a look back at the bits and pieces of places I've lived and things I've experienced thinking of how it'd be amazing to somehow patchwork them together in an ideal environment.

Here's what I'd include:

The wholesomeness of  Ohio

The tenderness of Columbus School for Girls

The beauty and calm of Wellesley College

The charm of Portsmouth, NH

The diversity and integration of NYC

My Grandma Mary

The random whimsy of Japan

The approachable grandeur of Stockholm, Sweden

The welcoming quaintness of Trier, Germany

The relaxing vibe of Puerto Rico

The roots of Nigeria

Do you also reminisce of your favorite parts of places you've been to? What elements would you include in your ideal place?
