Why I Don't Want to Paint Our White Walls

I keep vacillating between wanting to paint our white walls and wanting to just hang art up instead.

I was flipping through Lonny and came across this image that I think has finally tipped me towards wanting to hang art up instead:

I would love to do a blow up print of Uka with Nia on one of our walls. 

Then I see something like this from Apartment Therapy and I get excited for a pop of color above our dining room table:
