One of my earliest TV memories was seeing Snuggle commercials - to my 80s child mind he was the perfect, cozy companion, and I just wanted to squeeze him! Well, I got the chance last month when I attended a launch event for Snuggle Scent Boosters.
We aren't too fancy with our laundry - we use standard liquid detergent and I occasionally use dryer sheets. I'm just happy to have a washer/dryer combo which is a rarity in NYC-metro! When I received the Snuggle invitation I was intrigued to hear how I could make my laundry process a bit more special, and I was excited to see it was hosted by fellow NYC blogger Jordan Reid of Ramshackle Glam.
I was joined at the event by my friend and fellow entrepreneur Nia of Myrtle&Flossie, and it was a fun evening learning about Snuggle Scent Boosters, great conversation and yummy treats!
I have to admit I was a bit confused at first about what Scent Boosters are especially since they come in pods. I thought they were detergent and/or fabric softner, but instead they are simply scent pods - you still have to add your own detergent. Our detergent is mildly scented, and I've been sensitive to scent but found that blending the Scent Boosters with my detergent isn't overpowering - the Scent Booster comes through just enough! I use one booster for a regular load and two for an extra large load. I find I prefer just to use it for my whites though; there's just something about having nicely scented towels and sheets!
This was also my first time meeting Jordan who's also due with baby #2 - we had a great time swapping stories and I was really inspired by her fashion sense! We couldn't help but take a baby bump pic:
