Simply7 Snacks Caused My Break-Up with Potato Chips

Disclosure: I received samples to facilitate this review; all opinions expressed are my own.

Little did I know that attending W.E.L.L. Summit last fall would be a helpful precursor to a whole heapful of health challenges I'm going through now. I've had fellow mommas of two warn me about what happens when you have more than one child and BOY, were they right! I'm getting back on track with a great medical team, but I'm also looking at what changes I can implement especially when it comes to my diet.

We don't keep much snack food in our home, but try to have fruit on hand to snack on as well as crunchy stuff which sometimes gets into chips' territory. I've never been a big fan of regular potato chips, but I do have a weakness for salt and vinegar flavored ones (why oh why are they so dern addictive?!). After meeting Simply7 at W.E.L.L. Summit I was intrigued after sampling their Lentil Chips which they had available to snack on throughout the weekend.

My son Grayson has an obsession with all things crunchy, and once I tried the Lentil Chips I knew he'd like them too so I snagged a bag for him. I was right - he's a fan!:

The Simply7 team sent over an array of their chips for me and my family to try which coincided with our Christmas road trip to NYC. Our stash didn't last long! We had a fun time trying the flavors and there were a few tears shed by Grayson when he realized everyone deemed the Lentil Chips their favorite as well. I hoarded the Quinoa Chips in Sea Salt flavor - the bag had no hope in my hands!

Besides Kale, Quinoa and Lentil there are also Hummus chips, and so many flavor varieties to choose from including Tomato Basil, Lemon & Olive Oil as well as Cheddar. The best part? They adhere to 7 core standards:

I appreciate these standards and how they enable me and my family to snack confidently (and deliciously!).
