Continuing Our Swimming Journey with SwimWays

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by SwimWays as part of an Activation for Influence Central. I received products to facilitate my review.

With school out next month, we're gearing up for the summer and scheduling our activities. One of the most important activities will be swimming lessons. It's a life skill that I'm glad my children are learning especially as we live on the coast and frequent beaches and pools. This Saturday, May 21 is National Learn to Swim Day and while Grayson's already in spring lessons at our indoor pool, Nia will re-start her lessons this summer when our community offers free lessons to residents of all ages.

While we're swimming indoors for now, a few weeks ago during spring break we were able to get outside and have the property's pool all to ourselves. It was the perfect time to use our SwimWays Baby Spring Float. We try to pack as light as possible on our trips and I appreciate how little space it took up - it came flat and easily packed back up in its carrying case.

While Uka and Nia splashed around, Grayson enjoyed floating in his Baby Spring Float (here he is with it last year!). While he's extremely confident in the water, it was a nice break to wrangle him for a few minutes! The sun wasn't very strong during our spring break week, but we kept Grayson in a rash guard and the canopy on the Baby Spring Float added another layer of protection with 50+ UPF. As I've discussed before on the blog, sun-safety is important too even for those with dark skin!

This year marks the 5th anniversary of National Learn to Swim Day and SwimWays has continued to promote water safety on this and every day. Pools begin their summer season this month across the U.S. and the Baby Spring Float for ages 9-24 months offers a way to safely introduce your little one to the water
