My new tablet case from Ballard Designs (more on that below!) |
My sister Ariane was in town for a long weekend, and it was such a whirlwind of fun that I totally missed properly welcoming March!
The month has really has bowled me over already, and I'll admit I haven't fully unpacked from our Disney cruise. I'm basking in some good news I shared recently, and it appears that blog conference season is officially in full swing so I have lots to prep for in that regard.
The month has really has bowled me over already, and I'll admit I haven't fully unpacked from our Disney cruise. I'm basking in some good news I shared recently, and it appears that blog conference season is officially in full swing so I have lots to prep for in that regard.
Here's what's going on...
::cue the list post::
- I shared a week or so before our cruise that I'm speaking at Mom 2.0 - I originally won a ticket as part of a giveaway then I received the bonus news that I'm speaking! It'll be my first time there
- While en route to our Disney cruise I got more good news that I could spill the beans at last that I'm speaking at BlogHer also in Orlando; this will be my 3rd time attending and unlike Mom 2.0 which is already sold out, you can still snag a ticket here using code BH17SPEAKER50 to get $50 off (you're welcome!)
- My sister arrived late Thursday night and Friday night we attended my church's Pajama Jam; it was SO much fun, and if you don't have a Pajama Jam in our life you need to make one happen STAT!
- I'll be in Las Vegas later this summer just me and Mr. Lovebird as our last trip we booked there two years ago had to cancel due to his new job; somehow our brains weren't working when we planned our trip this summer and we're arriving just 3 days after Bruno Mars' concert there. What were we thinking?! We could always see it in Boston, but it's just not the same. I'm thinking we head to NYC for my birthday September 22 to see him there as his concert is also that day (thank you Bruno ::kisses::)
- Speaking of NYC I'll be back there (kid-free!) with Mr. Lovebird for a family function, and I'll also be multi-tasking as I've been invited to attend Mommy Con on March 25 for the first time (stay tuned as I have a ticket giveaway too for 1 lucky Harlem Lovebirds' reader to attend too!)
- We're slowly acclimating still to Boston, and I can't believe how much the city has changed since I last lived here in 2007; we were at the Boston Public Market this past week and had such a great time visiting the booths and eating yummy samples; thank you to everyone for the amazing hospitality, and I'll have a few more featured posts coming on our experience and vendors we met...
- Speaking of events I made my way over to Ballard Designs grand opening here in Boston at the Natick Mall - my old stomping grounds when I attended Wellesley College; check out my Facebook Live here and a full post and giveaway to come...In the interim if you want to check out the new store head over by March 13th to save 25% on EVERYTHING!
- Family visits continue with my
twinother sister coming next week for her birthday! We'll be so lucky to have her here for 3 full days and can't wait to celebrate with her (we'll be seeing "Beauty & the Beast!")
- The same weekend my sister head back I'll be going to W.E.L.L. Summit's Day of W.E.L.L.ness here in Boston on Saturday, March 18, and YES! I have a discount code for you too - just hold tight as I'm troubleshooting it (and if you're on the fence here's my recap of W.E.L.L. Summit 2016)
- SPRING! Yes, it's inching upon us and the sudden cold weather that's arrived here in Boston has been such a surprise although I know it shouldn't be; we're trying to frantically get our homeowner act together and get some raised beds going; my issue gardening has always been that I travel so much that nothing ever stays alive =(
How's your March shaping up so far? Do you also feel like this year is flying by already?
