Scenes From a Real Spring Weekend

Each month it sneaks up on us super fast: Mr. Love Bird's week away on business. We scurry to make the most of the weekend and count the days until he comes back. Awaiting us at the end of this week, besides his glorious return, is a visit from my parents and grandma. I'll be stalking weather.com for sure!

This week (besides Mr. Love Bird's return and family visiting) I'm looking forward to:

• a high of 70 degrees today
• hopefully making it to a couple blogging events
• trying a couple recipes at last from the cookbook my sister gave me for my birthday
• trying something new for this month's episode of "Hi Virginia!" 
  

From my Instagram feed it looked like spring was nationwide at last! How was it where you live? {and I'm extra jealous of you if you're in the DMV and have cherry blossoms blooming}
