Planning a Perfect Party with Paperless Post

My Baby Boo at his 1st birthday
It's hard to believe that Grayson turns 4 years old in just a few short weeks, and this year since I'm traveling his birthday weekend I pushed his party out by a week. He is quite the opinionated preschooler and has requested a train themed birthday party so when Paperless Post reached out to partner together it was perfect timing! I've always loved seeing the beautiful details when I receive a Paperless Post invitation (the most recent being my sister's upcoming bridal shower), and I was happy to see they have quite a few adorable train-themed invitations.

Take a look...

It's so easy to set up an invitation with Paperless Post and I especially like being able to customize with my own photos. The invitations are arranged by category and I went straight to Trains, Trucks and Cars:

So many fun options to choose from!

Paperless Post has quite a few free styles, but their paid styles are really special as they've even partnered with a few well known companies such as Kate Spade New York and Rifle Paper Co. To upgrade from the free styles, Paperless Post uses a coin system which allows you to customize your invitation with add-ons such as envelopes, liners, backdrops and logos.

Here's the All Aboard invitation I created for Grayson - isn't it adorable?:

I added the pom pom background just for fun!
He smiled so big when I showed it too him, and I can't wait to send it out! And besides the train theme, "Mr. Opinionated" has requested that we hold his party at a splash pad with a train cake as well. His wish is my command, and I'm already feeling on top of things now that the invitation is ready to go!

How old were your kids when they first asked for a particular birthday party theme?
